PHILIPPINE LONG DISTANCE TELEPHONE (PLDT) makes available to you its PLDT Vibe prepaid Internet card. The following terms and conditions bind any person who avails of the PLDT Vibe prepaid Internet card services:

As a user of PLDT Vibe prepaid Internet card please be informed that you are subject to the provisions of this Terms of Service. PLDT, as issuer of PLDT Vibe prepaid Internet card reserves the right to update or modify service policies/ terms of service from time to time. Such changes may include but not limited to prices charged (for services provided by PLDT Vibe Internet Card) at anytime upon notice to be determined by PLDT's discretion. Notice, by way of posting of the relevant changes to the terms hereof, shall make the changes to the Terms of Service effective three (3) days after posting date.

PLDT shall provide you with dial-up internet access corresponding to the number of hours in your PLDT VIBE PREPAID INTERNET CARD("Service").

PLDT shall not replace nor exchange your PLDT VIBE PREPAID INTERNET except for the following causes/ defects: (1) unreadable username and password (due to card production printing); and (2) usernames and passwords that are not accepted by PLDT's servers for dial-up connection.

  1. You recognize that PLDT sells PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card only through its authorized distributors and does not honor any PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card bought or obtained from any other dealer.
  2. You understand that PLDT will not replace any dishonored PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card, which you purchased or obtained from any unauthorized dealer. It is therefore your sole responsibility to ensure that your PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card was purchased from a PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card authorized distributor (authorized distributor includes sales agents and resellers). In addition, PLDT Vibe prepaid internet card is non-refundable or redeemable for cash.
  3. You shall be solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card in good condition, including the necessary equipment and telephone services necessary to access the Service.
  4. You shall be solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your PLDT VIBE Prepaid Internet card username and password. PLDT shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of any disclosure of your username and password.
  5. You hereby agree that you are solely responsible for safekeeping and use of the card. Thus, PLDT shall not be in anyway responsible for the loss or unauthorized use of the card.
  6. You hereby agree that you will comply with the Terms of Service and all laws applicable to your use of the Service. By way of example, and not as limitation, you bind yourself not to engage in acts constituting misuse, misappropriation and abuse of the Service, such as:

    • Transmit through the Service any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
    • Interfere with any other person's use and enjoyment of the Service;
    • Use the Service for the transmission of (or receipt of responses to) chain letters or pyramid schemes of any kind;
    • Use the Service for spamming, sending and receiving unsolicited bulk and/or junk e-mail;
    • Acts of misrepresentation, including but not limited to the use of deceptive methods, devices and correspondence in violation of existing trademarks, service marks and food will of PLDT and third parties;
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized or illegal access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service, through password mining or other means; and
    • Any analogous acts which PLDT, in its sole discretion, determines to be an abuse of Service.
  1. The PLDT VIBE Prepaid Internet card logo and trademark is owned by PLDT and is protected by intellectual property laws.
  2. No license under any trademark, patent or copyright, or application for same, which are now or thereafter obtained by PLDT, is either granted to you or implied to have been granted to you by your use of PLDT VIBE PREPAID Internet Card and the Service.
  1. PLDT shall provide the Service to you until a) Two months (60 days) from the date of first use, b) consumption of the number of hours provided in your PLDT VIBE Prepaid Internet Card, or c) the expiry date written at the back of your PLDT VIBE Prepaid Internet Card ,whichever comes first.
  2. PLDT may immediately terminate the Service upon the occurrence of any of the following:

    • expiration of the Service as provided in Section 6.1 hereof; or
    • violation of any of the terms and conditions of the Terms of Service; or
    • commission of any act constituting an abuse or misuse of the Service as provided in Section 4.3 hereof.
  3. In addition, PLDT shall have the right to discontinue the Service should it be unworkable or impossible to maintain the Service due to reasons beyond its control such as events constituting force majeure, economic reverses, changes in law, bankruptcy and other analogous circumstances.
  1. PLDT MAKES NO WARRANTY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF PLDT VIBE PREPAID INTERNET CARD AND SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR SUBSEQUENT LOSS OR DAMAGE TO YOU, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF GOODWILL OR PROFITS (EVEN IF PLDT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), ARISING FROM THE SERVICE, PRE-TERMINATION THEREOF, DISHONOR OF YOUR PLDT VIBE PREPAID INTERNET CARD PURSUANT TO SECTION 4.1 HEREOF, OR ANY DEFECT IN THE PERFORMANCE OF PLDT VIBE PREPAID INTERNET CARD OR THAT RESULT FROM MISTAKES, OMISSIONS, INTERRUPTIONS, DELETION OF FILES OR DEFECTS, VIRUSES, DELAYS IN OPERATION OR TRANSMISSION OR ANY FAILURE OF PERFORMANCE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY THEREOF.
  2. You agree that the entire liability of PLDT and your exclusive remedy with respect to the use of the Service, subject to Section 4.1, shall be the replacement of PLDT Vibe Prepaid Internet card.
  3. By using your PLDT, Vibe Prepaid Internet card and availing of the Service, you release PLDT, its officers and employees, its subsidiaries, and affiliates from any and all liability regarding the Service.
